Why we fall in Love ???

Have you ever been in love
and asked the question why?
Did you ever think of it
then breakdown and cry?

When together, did you laugh,
or gaze into their smile?
And wonder if they felt the same
or were they in denial?

Have you ever closed your eyes
when you're about to kiss?
When thinking of the special things
that put you in this bliss?

Why should we fall in love
when all it brings is pain?
It hurts inside to know the facts
that all their feelings change.

There's no way to get over
the memories that may be;
falling in love was so much fun,
yet facing reality.

How I felt was disrespected
by you are playing with my mind
or could it be neglect ion,
that wasted all our time?

Now I lie convincingly
to show that I don't care
in exchange, I've lost my mind,
for my heart cannot repair
